Folks,
When's
the last time you saw an Alligator Snap'n Turtle in Kentucky . . (or in your
driveway on the ridge) . . ha..ha..! One of our friends brought this one
over for Daren & Whitney's kids to see . . while they are vacationing here
on the farm!
He's a
good'n all right!

our grandchildren. We recently
*** Bertha's Bunny
Contributed by Marva Rose Our dog brought this little baby rabbit in
from the woods and we tried to raise it with baby
formula. It lived for 5 days. We kept it on the screened in porch
and when we would go open the back door and say its
name it would come flying, ready for that "bottle".
(I fed it with a medicine dropper--it ate 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon at a time, every
6 hours.) Thought we had it made when she? lived for 5
days, but found her dead one morning. B.B
stands for Bertha's Bunny. Bertha is the dog. She would guard this
little bunny while it ate out in the yard, and if
it got out of her sight she hunted till she found it,
then just sat down and watched over it. |
