Thank You ! Crofton Baptist Church
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2cor 5:20 KJV
God blesses Calvary Baptist with the most
wonderful vacation bible school team there could be. Bro. Melvin Felts and his
great mission team from Crofton Baptist in Christian County, Ky. came and
held 2 backyard bible schools in the afternoon and then came to Calvary at
night to put the icing on the cake. We averaged about 33 children in all six
services. The holy spirit led in all the services and we saw 3 souls accept
the Lord. We baptized 2 on Sunday July 2nd. Our Sunday school grew the
first week from an average of 7 or 8 to 22 people in attendance.
Their team efforts was a special effort to be the very best they could before
the Lord. They left our congregation fired up for the Lord's work. We have a
visitation planned for follow up of the children that came this week.
God bless this mission team for their untiring effort to help a little country
church out.
